Rome has several important sports events taking place every year, such as the APT Tennis tournament and the marathon. Each year there are 2 or 3 home matches in the Six Nations Rugby tournament and of course there is football (of the soccer variety): During the season there is at least one match a week at the Olympic Stadium.
