Hotel Veneto is situated in the area surrounding the Via Veneto, one of Rome’s most famous streets, popular with the wealthy and the famous (as Fellini’s La Dolce Vita testified in the 50’s), who used to go there to be seen and to do their shopping.

The hotel and the Via Veneto are just a short distance from the Via dei Condotti, at the foot of the Spanish Steps, and of the Trevi Fountain. The Villa Borghese, the closest thing Rome has to a  museum park (Villa Borghese, National Museum of Modern Art, Etruscan Museum) is just around the corner from the hotel.

The Veneto Hotel in Rome is housed in a 19th century building, consisting of 6 floors and 72 guest rooms, and offers all modern appliances: wireless internet, a fine example of romantic Italian architecture dating back to 1887. On-site amenities include wireless internet access, air conditioning. LCD flat-screen TV, mini bar, direct-dial telephone and a small safe. Of course all of the rooms have private bathrooms, with hairdryers and complimentary toiletries.

Front desk is staffed around the clock, receptionists are multi-lingual and can give you advice about anything to do with Rome and its tourist attractions and shopping venues. The Hotel Veneto is a non-smoking hotel.

The meeting room and the bar, like the guest rooms, are all hand-painted and the design and furniture of the Hotel are all inspired by its Venetian name and origins.
.
Extra amenities include a gym and a spa, where you can enjoy a steam bath or a Turkish bath as well as a relaxing massage.

The rooms are divided into standard double ( 1 queen and 2 twin beds), deluxe double and triple (one queen and 2 or 3 twin beds, whirlpool shower/tub combination or shower only) and superior double (one queen bed, whirlpool shower). All rooms are characterized by their high ceiling and elegant decorations and furnishings.

By train
From Roma Termini railway station, take underground line A (direction Battistini) and get off at Barberini: Find the Via Veneto exit and turn right into Via Boncompagni and then left at the third crossroad. Bus 910, leaving from the bus square in front of Roma Termini, has a stop in front of the hotel.

From Fiumicino
Fiumicino Airport is about 25 km from the Rome city-centre. There is a direct Express train to Termini.

From Ciampino
There are several bus companies offering direct connections to the railway station.
