The Residenza Paolo VI can safely promise to offer a unique experience to its guests, being the only Rome Hotel on St. Peter’s Square, therefore very close to many other attractions like the Sistine Chapel and the rest of the Vatican City, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

The hotel is housed in a former monastery, the top floor of which is taken up by the Bernini room, the background for the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel. There is also a cafe, serving excellent cappuccinos, drinks and snacks during the day.

The others are all (remember this used to be a monastery) fairly small singles and double rooms, all with private bathroom and shower. By car
The hotel is easily reachable from the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) ring-road. Exit at Civitavecchia-Aurelio-Roma and follow the signs for the Vaticano.

By train
From Roma Termini railway station, take the underground line A (direction Battistini) and get off at the Ottaviano stop (6 stops). The first exit on the left brings you to the Via Ottaviano, go straight ahead, cross Piazza S. Pietro and you will come to the Residenza Paolo VI.

From Fiumicino
The Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino airport is connected to Roma Termini through the Leonardo Express.

From Ciampino
Take a Cotral bus to Anagnina and then the underground to Ottaviano.
