You will most likely not see Anita Ekberg enticing Marcello Mastroianni to step into the Trevi Fountain, but it is hard to imagine a more romantic setting for an evening stroll than this monument, one of Rome’s most famous landmarks. Choosing your accommodation in the area directly around this fountain will make it possible to see the Trevi Fountain at its best, in the middle of the night, beautifully lit, with only your partner (and maybe some other, equally romantic) couples for company.

The quarter around the Trevi Fountain is mostly pedestrian and a short walk will take you to many famous sites like the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.
