Trastevere Hotels

Trastevere is one of Rome’s most beautiful and oldest areas and as such a favorite among people wanting to stay in Rome center hotels. The area has a good connection to the international Fiumicino airport (though not with the Leonardo Express to Termini, but through a direct connection with the little-known Trastevere station) and a short walk across the river take the tourist directly to the heart of Rome, with the Campo de’ Fiori and the Piazza Navona.

Unfortunately there are not that many hotels and bed and breakfasts in Trastevere, though the ones that do exist are characterized by an idyllic setting in one of the most romantic quarters of Rome.
