San Giovanni Hotels

The San Giovanni in Laterano area is, though centrally located and easily reachable by public transport, one of the more affordable hotel districts in Rome.

The Basilica itself is only 3 metro stops from Termini and there are many other beautiful churches around it, such as the Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Even the Colosseum is no more than  a 15 minute walk away and there is a direct bus connection to the Old Appian Way and its Catacombs.
