EUR

EUR (officially called Europa) is a relatively new district in the south of Rome. Unless you are interested in modern architecture it is not extremely important from a tourist point of view.

EUR is important, however, since there are several big offices there and one of Rome’s most important concert venues is also located in the area.

The district is well connected with the center of Rome, since there are no less than three (line B) subway stops to be found: EUR Fermi, EUR Magliana and EUR Palasport.

The hotels in the area are especially popular with business travelers.
