Friday Night Openings Vatican Museums

After a brief break during the months of August, from September 2 onwards the Vatican Museums will open their doors again every friday evening from 7 until 11 PM.

The initiative will last until October 28 and, although normal tourists are of course welcome, is especially meant for the Romans themselves, who usually do not have time to visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel during normal visiting hours, when they are working.

Last admission is at 9.30 PM and the ticket costs the same as during day time, i.e. 15 Euro (8 Euros concessions) and 4 Euros extra to make the reservation, which in the evening is obligatory.
